PartyPoker closed 768 accounts for the whole 2019 year

PartyPoker 2020

During 2019, PartyPoker has been publishing the monthly reports concerning the results of fight against the dishonest play in the poker room. Most of the accounts were blocked in the first quarter of this year: in total, 277 dishonest players were blocked, while the honest players got $700 000 back to their accounts.

The fraud manager Juha stated that poker room closed 768 accounts for the whole year because of a rude violation of the poker room’s rules. The affected players were given back $1 400 000 in total.

Juha said that after PartyPoker prohibited using the stat programs, the playing field was leveled. Now, the players use their own hand history with a particular opponent, rather than figures that a third-party program calculates.

PartyPoker manager considers that poker rooms should unite in the matter of security and stop seeing each other as competitors at least temporarily. Juha has an idea to organize a common cheater base in order the players get a ban not in one poker room, but in all at once.

Unfortunately, it is hardly possible for Juha due to the law on personal data protection. Perhaps the security service will be able to create an analogue in the future.

PartyPoker anti-fraud team often attends the large live series. Any poker player can come to this team for discussing the issues concerning the safe play at PartyPoker. The poker room is open to proposals and wants to become the safest in the world.
