PartyPoker will host tournaments to support freelance dealers
Due to the coronavirus epidemic, some live poker series have been canceled and other poker festivals have been postponed. It’s unknown how long this pause will last, but thousands of dealers around the world are now unemployed.
PartyPoker decided to support its staff and, it is going to raise £100 000 for them. Thus, April 26 through May 3, the poker room will host 25 flights of a special event, and rake taken from these flights will be completely transferred to dealers.
The tournament will be called Grand Prix 4 Dealers, and its buy-in is set to be $50 + $5. In addition to this event, PartyPoker also plans to raise funds by another method: through the Just Giving service.

Currently, the room has collected £8 900, and when the amount would reach the mark of £100 000, Rob Young promised to double it. Many dealers temporarily lost their jobs because of the cancellation of PartyPoker Live tournaments, and the poker room wants to support them in this way.
