Patrick Leonard bet on unfavorite football team and won
Some well-known poker players like to spend their winnings on sports bets, in particular on football teams.
As you know, one of the main world football events is now taking place, namely Euro 2020. The famous British poker player and PartyPoker Ambassador Patrick Leonard also decided to get involved in this event.
He made a $2 500 bet on Belgium’s victory in the match against Russia. Leonard told about his bet on his Twitter page, as well as attached a screenshot.
An interesting fact is that Patrick is not a fan of the Belgian national team, and whenever possible, he always tries to bet against this team.
Nevertheless, the poker player couldn’t stay away after seeing the odds of 2.00 in favor of Belgium. Leonard decided to take the risk by betting $2 500 and got a profit for the same amount after Russia lost to Belgium with a score of 0: 3.
