Coronavirus: effect on poker
In early 2020, the world underwent the coronavirus outbreak. Due to this, different sporting events, including live poker series, were discussed to be cancelled.
Such precautionary measures are aimed at halting the spread of the virus. It’s dangerous to conduct live poker tournaments in the context of the pandemic, and therefore the organizers decided to take drastic measures and as a result – cancelled the tournaments.
Series that are cancelled or postponed (being updated)
The organizers of poker festivals have already abolished lots of live series. In order to sort through the schedule, we've compiled a list of the series that have already been cancelled.
