PokerStars has postponed EPT Prague

 EPT Prague 2021

The European Poker Tour (EPT) was earlier scheduled to take place in Prague from 8th through 20th December. But, unfortunately, the poker festival will not be held during the stated period, as the Czech authorities have imposed restrictions due to rising COVID cases in the country.

PokerStars announced the EPT Prague postponement on the official blog:

"Following the recent government restrictions put in place in the Czech Republic, we have had to make the unfortunate decision to postpone EPT Prague. The health and safety of our staff and players is a top priority and we will look to run EPT Prague at a later date when we are safe and able to do so."

Stars also added that in order to receive information regarding all sorts of refunds, one should contact the poker room via [email protected] The quarantine in the Czech Republic will last at least a month.

I’ve been working in the Cardmates team since 2018. Started playing poker the same way most people usually do – socially, with friends and fellow students. I adored those exciting poker nights but never thought my life would be connected with this game, even tangentially.
