PokerStars is leaving the Georgian market this spring
Recently, the government of Georgia has seriously toughened gambling legislation.
In addition to the fact that not all segments of the population can now use online gambling services, gambling advertising has also been significantly limited.
Not surprisingly, some of the world's major gambling companies have begun to leave the Georgian gambling market.

One of these companies is PokerStars. PokerStars players in Georgia have started receiving emails from support saying that PokerStars will stop providing their services to them starting March 1st.
Georgian users can open rakeback chests right now. All tickets and StarsCoin will also be converted into cash.
To continue playing at PokerStars from Georgia, players will either have to move to other countries or play via VPN. However, in the case of the second option, a lifetime account blocking will be very difficult to avoid.
