PokerStars revenue fell to a record low

The Stars Group holding issued a financial report for the second quarter of 2019. The company's poker income amounted to $191.6 million. In comparison with the corresponding period last year, poker earnings at The Stars Group became 12% lower.

In accordance with the report, the revenue went down due to the unstable exchange rate and the vulnerable work of certain markets.

Even compared to the first quarter of 2019, The Stars Group's poker income got decreased. Such poor results of PokerStars could not but affect the value of their shares in the market - they plummeted by 19%. Nevertheless, the website remains the leader in online poker traffic.

In general, the holding increased its profit from poker for the second quarter of 2019. For six months, The Stars Group made $1.22 billion. Sky Betting & Gaming earned the lion's share of the aforementioned amount, which is equal to 33%.
