PokerStars to implement webcams at the tables

PokerStars launches new feature

​PokerStars may soon present its innovation, namely webcams at the tables. For now, such function is being tested in the Home Games section.

PokerStars has joined the growing trend of integrating webcams at the poker tables. The poker room aims to replicate the live home game experience as accurately as possible, by allowing players to see each other during the gameplay.

The new video chat feature is a part of the new updated Home Games platform that is currently available in beta-version at

This novelty is not yet available on the main PokerStars platform, but it is expected in early 2022.

According the words of PokerStars representatives, they listened to the users’ feedback and worked on innovation and improvement of their home games to give community a more connected and exciting experience. Now, the new feature is currently testing in the web lobby.
