Roberto Romanello won $216 000 and a WSOP Online bracelet

The attention of the world's poker community is currently turned to the WSOP Online 2020, which takes place at WSOP.com from July 1 to July 31, and starting July 19, the series is held in the poker rooms of the top Asian poker network GG Network (Natural8, GGpoker).

The other day, the $1 500 NLH bracelet event took place as part of the WSOP Online at GGPoker. It collected 922 entries, which helped form a prize pool of $1 313 850.

Roberto Romanello from Wales, who is a Main Event EPT Prague 2010 champ, managed to capture this tournament, earning $216 200 for the first place.

In heads-up, Romanello beat Swedish poker pro Niklas Astedt, who was a chip leader at the final table, but ended up in second place and received $156 900 in prize money.

In the last hand of the tournament, Romanello made a 3-bet with 7-7, and the Swedish player shoved with K-Q offsuit. Romanello hit a set on the flop, Nicklas had outs on the turn, but the river brought a blank card, and Roberto Romanello became a champion of the WSOP Online bracelet event. Overall, 134 players reached the ITM zone of this event.
