Seidel invites Hellmuth to play heads-up next year

Seidel vs Hellmuth

Renowned poker pro Phil Hellmuth, who holds the current record for the most WSOP bracelets, has recently won the 7th High Stakes Duel match in a row.

And, while Phil is getting ready to play his eighth match (this time against Tom Dwan), a new and worthy opponent has loomed on the horizon.

Another live poker legend, Erik Seidel, has also expressed his desire to play heads-up with Hellmuth next year.

The other day, Phil Hellmuth tweeted that he wasn’t sure who his next High Stakes Duel opponent would be, and Erik Seidel responded to that post, remembering his heads-up clashes with Phil in live poker events:

In fact, Seidel invited Hellmuth to measure their strengths on High Stakes Duel in 2022. Phil has not yet responded to the invitation, but Erik Seidel rarely makes such offers, so it is quite possible that next year we will see the clash between two poker titans.
