September changes on Skrill and Neteller

Skrill and Neteller

Two international money transfer systems Skrill and Neteller announced about changes which are expected this month. Some of the innovations are already working now and the other ones will work pretty soon.

Both payment systems will launch the secondary user authorization. They also changed the tariffs for transfers within the systems and Neteller changed the terms of transfers in several rooms.

New tariffs

Commission in the amount of 5 - 5.25% was introduced for the transactions within the system (for other users). It applies only to the users who registered after August 27, 2019. It also applies to those who registered earlier, but the deposits from cards or bank accounts haven’t yet come to their accounts.

Nevertheless, the commission for those who registered until the end of August will only apply to the first transaction within the system. However, the commission will be valid for those who haven’t yet transferred money to the deposit, until they replenish account. After that, the tariff will be 1.45% (minimum 0.50 €).

The reason for such innovations was the desire of availability of payment systems in order the users can make the deposits, rather than make transfers only within the system.

New rules for transfers to the poker rooms

In Neteller system, it will be allowed to transfer only that money in the separate rooms, which was credited with MasterCard. These changes will affect such poker rooms as: 888poker, Unibet, PartyPoker, BetFair and Bet365.

Secondary authorization

From 14 September, an additional user authentication via SMS or email will be introduced in European countries due to the new requirements for payment systems. Additional authorization for Neteller will appear a bit later.
