Side Bets feature appeared at PokerStars

The PokerStars poker table lobby has a new Side Bets feature. Thanks to it, poker room players can have fun during and between playing the hands.

Side Bets provides an opportunity for a PokerStars player to bet on which cards he will receive or which cards will be dealt on the flop before the start of the hand.

Money for bets will be deducted from the balance of the players and will not directly affect the game. The “Side Bets” tab is located in the poker table window next to the chat and information panels.

The poker community negatively perceived information about the introduction of Side Bets. Poker players did not like the fact that the new feature is too intrusive. However, the poker room took into the account a possible negative reaction of users to this innovation. Players who do not want to use the function can disable Side Bets on PokerStars in the poker client settings. In order to activate/turn off Side Bets, go to Settings -> Gameplay -> Advanced and click the necessary field.
