Spin & Gold tournaments in 6-max format appeared at GGPoker
Top poker room GGPoker continues to experiment with the game formats and actively competes with PokerStars in a variety of game disciplines.
On 30 April, the players received notification concerning the updates, including the introduction of new Spin & Gold tournaments (Spins) at 6-max tables.
According to the poker room’s team, this new format of spins was added at the request of the players. In total, three buy-in levels are available in these tournaments: $1, $10 and $100.

Given the greater number of players at the tables of this format, the prize pools and multipliers of these prize money will also be higher. The minimum multiplier for these tournaments has grown from 2x to 4x.
Accordingly, the jackpot multiplier is x200 000. However, this doesn’t apply to the tournaments with $100 buy-ins, where the maximum jackpot multiplier will be x40 000. So, the maximum prize pool of Spin & Gold tournaments with $100 buy-in is $4 000 000 (which is big enough).
The probabilities of getting multipliers and the prize money structure in these tournaments are as follows (the multipliers applied to the tournament buy-in are indicated here):
Prize multipliers | 1st place | 2nd place | 3rd place | 4th place | 5th place | 6th place | Multiplier probabilities |

In all other respects, the rules and opportunities (insurance and challenge) of this format are the same as in the standard 3-max tournaments. The rake in these events (by analogy with regular spins) is also 7%. The only downside of a new format is the lack of daily leaderboards. However, knowing the poker room's policy, it is likely that this is only a matter of time.
