Stephen Chidwick became a runner-up of WCOOP High Roller tournament

Stephen Chidwick was one step away from the victory in WCOOP 2020 tournament. He played in WCOOP-69-H event for $10 300, and according to buy-in, the high rollers predominantly participated in it.

In total, this event collected 67 entries and the players fought for the prize pool of $670 000. Only seven poker players reached ITM zone, while the other ones were left with nothing.

There were enough strong players in the final table. In addition to Stephen Chidwick, two famous poker pro also took part: Mike Leah and Joao Vieira. Mike finished fifth and earned $45 328 of prize money. Joao stayed a little longer in the tournament and took the third place, which brought him $68 436.

In a heads-up, Chidwick fought against German poker player Raul Gonzalez. Raul can be easily called a specialist of expensive Omaha cash tables and MTT tournaments.   

In any case, he plays successfully in them and his first place in this tournament is a proof of that. Raul managed to outplay Chidwick and took the first place with $235 530 of prize money. Stephen became a runner-up and enriched with $156 000.
