Streamer Lex Veldhuis Bags Two Titles in One Day at PokerStars New Year Series
The popular PokerStars streamer showed all fans how it is to win tournaments in his "native" poker room – the other day Lex Veldhuis won two titles in one day. The regular from the Netherlands had a bright session at the New Year's series with a total guarantee of $35,000,000, which is currently being held on the red spade room.
In just a few hours, Veldhuis added two new titles and over $37,000 in prize money to his collection.
The streamer's first success was in the NYS 04-H NLHE PKO event with a buy-in of $1,050. The tournament with a guarantee of $125,000 collected 120 entries – after defeating the Brazilian "gustavoodias" in heads-up, Veldhuis took home $24,220 (including the bounty) for the first place.
After that, the PokerStars star picked up another win, this time in a $320 Hold'em event. Beating a field of 226 entries, he added another $12,863 in prize money.
It is interesting to note that for the first victory, Lex needed two entries into the tournament, and for the second – as many as four. But it was definitely worth the money, if you look at the final result.
