Tamas Adamszki Dominates EPT Prague: Two Titles and Over €500K
For a long time, Tamas Adamszki from Hungary preferred to play only online and deservedly called himself an online professional. A year ago, he first tried his hand at live tournaments in Prague, and then he managed to get some small cashes.
And this year Tamas decided to take offline events seriously and try to become a professional in this area. He came to the European Poker Tour in Prague to compete with the best regulars for titles. And in just a week of playing, he already has two prestigious EPT trophies and more than 500 thousand euros in prize money.
Initially, it was he who became the first winner of the EPT Prague 2023, winning the €10,200 hold'em tournament. And now his list of achievements includes a victory in the expensive and prestigious Super High Roller event with an entry fee of 50 thousand euros.
The tournament attracted few players (only 23 entries), but there were many strong and experienced regulars. For example, we can name the names of Ole Schemion, Steve O'Dwyer, Teun Mulder. Only four players made it into the ITM zone.
It's two #EPTPrague titles in a week for Tamas Adamszki. 🏆 🏆

He's the Super High Roller champion, winning €394,670, defeating Laszlo Bujtas heads-up after the two players struck a deal.

Interestingly, the future champion played the final heads-up against his compatriot and friend, Laszlo Bujtas. The two players decided to make a deal and left 40 thousand euros and a trophy for the champion. At the time of the deal, Laszlo had a big stack, but in the end, luck smiled on Tamas and the victory went to him.
