The star of «Breaking Bad» TV series won a charity tournament on Stars

The other day, PokerStars hosted a charity poker tournament, the participants of which were Hollywood celebrities.

This tournament aimed to raise funds for the international charitable organization called CARE International.

Aaron Paul, Bryan Cranston, David Schwimmer, Edward Norton, Macaulay Culkin and other American celebrities took part in the event.

In addition to Hollywood stars, professional poker players also participated in the tournament. This group was represented by Chris Moneymaker, Jennifer Shahade and poker commentator Joe Stapleton.

The winner of the Stars CALL For Action charity tournament was the famous actor who played the role of Gale Boetticher in the «Breaking Bad» series – David Costabile. For his victory, David received $100 000, which was given to charity.

The tournament runner-up, who was awarded with a prize of $75 000, became Juventus footballer Douglas Costa. The WSOP ME 2003 champion Chris Moneymaker, PokerStars Ambassador and Grandmaster Jennifer Shahade also played at the final table.

There were 6 poker players to reach the ITM zone. The minimum payout of $10 000 was given to a randomly invited poker player Mike "TheLordLord" Tindall.

Poker players and celebrities will send all the prize money to the charity funds of their choice.

In the last hand of the tournament, David Costabile shoved from the button with 4♠-4♣, and Douglas Costa called the bet with A♣-K♣. The board showed 8♦-9♦-J♠-6♥-10♣, which eventually cemented Costabile’s victory in this event.
