Toby Lewis shows great results at Aussie Millions for the third year in a row
English player Toby Lewis has been playing successfully at January Aussie Millions series for the third year in a row. In 2018, he won Main Event of the series and got the biggest prize money in his career – $1 178 000. One year later, in January 2019, Lewis reached the final heads-up of two events and won one of them by earning another one million dollars in total.
Toby began 2020 with a trip to Melbourne, and luck was again on his side. First, Toby reached the final heads-up of AU$25 000 Challenge with Rainer Kempe. The guys made a deal and splitted the prize money, but the German high roller got the trophy. The British player earned $570 000 for the second place.

After the intense play in that event, Lewis decided to play in AU$50 000 Challenge and won it. Toby beat a record players’ pool of 62 participants and made a heads-up deal with the German poker pro Manig Loeser. This time, he managed to win. The first place brought Toby $590 000. Lewis said that he didn’t intend to play in the tournament, but the big players’ pool attracted him. As a result, the fortune smiled upon him.
The series has not yet ended, and Toby already added one million dollars to his arsenal. Lewis’ total prize money in offline tournaments now exceeds the mark of $7.5 million. He won more than $3,5 million of that amount in different tournaments of Aussie Millions series.
