Tom Dwan lost to Doug Polk at WPT HU Championship

​Currently, the poker room Poker King is holding WPT HU Championship. Some days ago, one of the best heads-up players in the world, namely Douglas Polk, took part in this event.

Polk played in heads-up against another popular poker pro – Tom Dwan. As a result of this battle, Douglas managed to defeat Dwan in two rounds of the three ones.

In the first round, Dwan demonstrated a good play, but in the next two ones, he was deprived of chances to win.

The poker community has been anticipated the battle between these two poker legends for many years, because Polk challenged Dwan to a poker duel back in 2017.

However, the poker pro failed to enter the final of WPT HU Championship, because after defeating Dwan, Douglas Polk wasn’t able to beat Patrik Antonius.

In turn, Antonius has reached the final of competition, so he will fight in the duel against another eminent WPT HU Championship finalist – Phil Ivey.
