Triton Million for charity

The biggest prize money in poker history has been played in the Triton Millions tournament. In the final heads-up of the event, poker players made a deal and, following its results, Bryn Kenney received $20 000 000, and Aaron Zang took home $16 000 000.

One of the main tasks of the tourney was charity, and the competition had another name, «A helping hand for charity». Triton Poker co-founder Paul Phua stated that the main reason for organizing this prestigious event was the charitable aspect.

£50 000 from each buy-in were donated to charity, and this is a total amount of £2 700 000. Such fundraising is not a new experience for Triton Poker since the same was done at the previous series in Montenegro. Triton Poker series is considered a non-profit organization, and all additional funds are immediately sent for good deeds.
