Triton Poker Super High Roller Series in London canceled due to COVID-19

Triton Poker Super High Roller Series

At the end of March, it became known that representatives of big Triton Poker Super High Roller Series canceled their series in Montenegro due to coronavirus pandemic. At that time, this epidemic spread around the world and it was in full swing, but organizers were not so quick to inform about cancellation of subsequent series.

Nevertheless, the cancellation of subsequent events happened. Triton Poker Super High Roller Series 2020 was supposed to be held in London from 29 July to 13 August. Series representatives stated that they didn’t want to endanger players’ health and canceled given series.

The stage of Triton Poker 2020 Super High Roller Series in London was the last one of all the planned Triton Poker series. So we can safely say that this series wasn’t held this year at all.

Last year in London, the most expensive event in poker history took place as part of this series. This year, the organizers also had rather ambitious plans, as Triton Poker in collaboration with PartyPoker launched their own Player of the Year rating.

Most likely, we won’t see big series of this scale this year. It is likely that organizers of series will have more luck next year.
