Winner of the women's tournament at PokerStars turned out to be a man
In early March, PokerStars held the Women`s Sunday tournament with $22 buy-in to celebrate International Women's Day. In this very event, the room raffled the Platinum Pass among female poker players.
Nevertheless, the winner of the tournament turned out to be a male, for which he was disqualified. This was reported by one of the Women`s Sunday participants, who took the 3rd place in the event, on Instagram:
The poker player also said that her game experience is little, just 10 tournaments played and a couple of hours in cash games.

The girl also added that she would be very pleased to play with poker professionals in Barcelona. It’s important to underline that she will use the Platinum Pass if the coronavirus doesn’t interfere with her plans.
At one of the poker forums where this situation was discussed, one poker player revealed the nickname of the disqualified participant.
He also added that the given person under the "ameliaroy007" screen name is a regular player at PokerStars and that his account was not blocked after this situation.
