WPT changes Asian tour schedule due to coronavirus

WPT 2020

The coronavirus epidemic in China seriously affected the Asian gambling industry. For example, all casinos in Macau were forced to be closed due to the ten infection cases in the region (including casino workers). In this regard, the local casinos have already lost 11.3% of revenue.

For the same reason, the organizers of Triton Poker Series postponed the first stage of series for an indefinite period. This situation didn’t spare the Asian stage of World Poker Tour that was supposed to be held in the near future.
