WPT Pro Hunt: PartyPoker pro won the event

WPT Pro Hunt

As part of the WPT Online series, PartyPoker hosted the $33 WPT Pro Hunt tournament. It should be noted that players received an additional cash reward (bounty) for knocking PartyPoker professionals out of the game.

The curious thing is that a member of Team partypoker took down the event. Douglas Souza emerged victorious, beating a field of 1 787 players. By the way, Douglas streamed his play, so 180 viewers watched him winning the tournament.

In the last hand of the event, Souza’s opponent Ihor Mochalov went all-in with A-Q and was called by the Brazilian who had pocket fives. For first place, Douglas received $5 700 in prize money and a ticket to the $3 200 WPT Online Main Event.

I’ve been working in the Cardmates team since 2018. Started playing poker the same way most people usually do – socially, with friends and fellow students. I adored those exciting poker nights but never thought my life would be connected with this game, even tangentially.
