WSOP 2020: poker players made bets on cancellation of series due to coronavirus
With regard to coronavirus epidemic, the beginning of the first stage of Triton Poker Series was postponed. Some poker players believe that WSOP 2020 could be canceled due to the virus.
High roller Doug Polk noted that the cancellation of the 51st World Series due to coronavirus epidemic is quite real. According to his words, the severe restrictions on travel can be the reason of championship cancellation. Polk wrote the following message on his twitter:
Doug is not the only poker player who decided to bet on the cancellation of series due to coronavirus. PokerShares founder Mike McDonald and American poker player Dan O'Brien supported him.
