Yet another failure in game servers’ operation at PokerStars

PokerStars is the top poker room and the world leader in the number of traffic. Nevertheless, there were systemic failures that seriously affected the operation of game client.

One of these failures occurred on 23 April. The poker room representatives announced it on their Twitter:

Many users expressed their indignation concerning the failure in the comments under this tweet. Some poker players said that PokerStars support ignores their e-mails:

Other poker players stated in the comments under the PokerStars post that such failures occur almost every week.   

However, in about an hour and a half, the game at PokerStars’ servers resumed, and the players received compensations for the lost buy-ins in the tournaments.

Nevertheless, PokerStars was unlikely to compensate the lost time and nerves of the affected poker players.
